You will act as a key interface between a variety of engineering groups and specialties, growing a diverse range of expertise to innovate new and improved test strategies, features, and technologies!\n\nYou will have or develop guide capability with Probe (wafer level test), Burn-in and ATE test code and testing techniques used to validate and ensure device performance. You will assist in debugging code and aiding other specialists in the characterization of applicable HBM devices. In this role, your additional responsibilities include an in-depth understanding of general device functionality specific to HBM products as well as schematics and signal integrity.\n\nAmong other things, you will:\n\nWork with Design Engineering to run simulations pre-silicon to validate test strategies\nProvide feedback to Design Engineering, Test Solutions Engineering, and others in Product Engineering\nAssist in completion of the pre-silicon checklist and work with manufacturing teams to define what tester resources are required\nWork with Test Solutions Engineering and the PE product groups to modify programs for specific product requirements or limitations to ensure that silicon performance meets expectations\nSupport Test Solutions Engineering by aiding in test program debug, data analysis, and test development\nSupport the Fabrication sites and Process Integration through test development to increase effective process feedback\nDebug and identifying root causes for failures using data, electrical and physical analysis techniques\nUse these techniques to modify existing testing strategies to improve quality and enhance yield\nMonitor yields to ensure they are meeting projections and expeditiously investigate root causes when they are not\nPartner with Engineering, Manufacturing and Marketing. This includes crafting and delivering presentations, participating in meetings with Fab, Design, and other teams\nProvide technical training and expertise. This includes providing on-the-Job training for new engineers, assisting with data interpretation, acting as a product-specific point of contact and attending technical seminars\nSupport critical Micron initiatives through support of high-value-added projects\nImprove our team through constructive feedback\nSupport the local team by developing tools that help to improve processes\nInnovate new, optimized test strategies and features\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering (Master's Degree preferred).\n\nHighly applicable skills and experience that is preferred:\n\nDRAM and other memory testing experience\nLogic IC, ASIC, or processor testing experience\nATE and at-speed interface and system testing experience\nFamiliarity with scan chain and loopback testing\nExperience with Built-In Self-Test (BIST)-based testing\nExposure to RTL design tools and workflow\nUnderstanding of semiconductor fabrication process, defectivity and marginality, and degradation mechanisms\nResponsibilities will include, but are not limited to:\nContributing to the development of new product opportunities by assisting with the overall design, layout, and optimization of Memory\/Logic\/Analog circuits\nParasitic modeling and assisting in design validation, reticle experiments and required tape-out revisions\nOverseeing and managing the layout process including floor-planning, placement, and routing\nPerforming verification processes with modeling and simulation using industry standard simulators\nContributing to cross group communication to work towards standardization and group success\nWorking with Marketing, Probe, Assembly, Test, Process Integration, and Product Engineering groups to ensure accurate manufacturability of product\nProactively solicit mentorship from Standards, CAD, modeling, and verification groups to improve the design quality\nDriving innovation into the future Memory generations within a dynamic work environment\n\n\n\nWe are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich life\u00a0for all.
