【Background of the Recruitment】

As automotive SoCs continue to increase in functionality and scale, design quality has become a critical factor that directly impacts product competitiveness.
In the R‑Car series, development is progressing through the advanced integration of diverse IPs such as CPUs, high‑speed interfaces, memory, AI/video, and functional safety. In this environment, it is increasingly important to raise the level of design completeness in a stable and consistent manner across the organization.
To achieve this, it is essential for design teams to share common quality perspectives and to continuously enhance quality from the early stages of development.
As a result, the importance of a role that works close to the design teams, organizing and complementing design content and development processes from a quality perspective, has continued to grow.
Therefore, our department is seeking a quality‑focused leader who is not limited to a specific IP or function, but who collaborates closely with design teams to strengthen overall design quality.
This role is expected to contribute to improving the quality of the entire SoC while working alongside the design teams on the ground.

【Job Description】

Serve as a quality leader who cross‑functionally organizes and complements design quality within the automotive SoC (R‑Car series) design team
Review and examine design content and development processes from quality and risk perspectives, with a system‑level view across the entire SoC rather than focusing on a specific IP or function
Participate in design reviews and technical discussions, organizing key quality and risk‑related topics, sharing insights, and supporting design decisions
Address defects and development issues by organizing root causes and backgrounds, and by considering approaches for recurrence prevention in order to move development forward
Collaborate with domestic and overseas design sites and stakeholders, promoting global development including technical discussions and specification confirmation in English

Qualifications



【MUST】

Experience in SoC or semiconductor design and development, with involvement in reviewing design content and development processes from quality and risk perspectives
Experience playing a role in providing quality‑ or risk‑related feedback and opinions through design reviews and technical discussions
Continuous involvement in analyzing defects or development issues, including organizing root causes and considering recurrence‑prevention approaches
Experience contributing to development progress as a member of a design team by incorporating quality perspectives
Comfortable participating in technical discussions and specification confirmation in English

【WANT】

Experience related to design quality, defect analysis, or recurrence‑prevention activities in semiconductor development
Experience participating in reviews or discussions using analysis approaches for root‑cause analysis and recurrence prevention
Experience participating in design reviews or quality reviews for SoC, IP, or subsystem development
Experience collaborating with functional safety (FuSa), reliability, or quality assurance organizations in cross‑functional quality activities
Experience contributing to the development or improvement of design‑quality guidelines, checklists, or standardization documents
Japanese language proficiency at a conversational level
