[職務内容サマリ]
我々は半導体ウエハの量産製品の不良解析Grとして電気的故障解析(EFA)及び物理的故障解析(PFA)を行い、解析結果から製造工程へFeedbackすることで歩留まり向上に貢献している。この度は物理的故障解析(PFA)エンジニアの募集になります。物理的故障解析(PFA)エンジニアは製造工程内で見つかった欠陥や、製造工程が完了したウエハのProbeテストで不良となったチップなどの物理的解析を実施します。Probeテストで不良となったチップに対しては電気的解析(EFA)で絞り込んだ場所を物理的に膜を剥離し、研磨を行いSEM(Scanning Electron Microscope)を使って表面側から故障を見つけたり、FIB(Focused Ion Beam)で断面をCutすることで故障を見つけます。また、見つけた欠陥から故障メカニズムを特定し、製造工程へFeedbackします。
[職務内容]
- フッ酸などの薬液を使った膜剥離を行う。
- Milling, GrinderやCMP toolを使って膜剥離を行う。
- SEM, FIB, STEM,TEMなどを使用し、平面解析及び断面解析を実施する。
- 解析結果から不良メカニズムを考察する。
- PFA解析結果を英語でSummary Report作成を行う。

- 会議で英語でPFA解析結果を報告する。
[応募資格]
- 基本的なEFA, PFA技術を理解する
- Processフローと断面構造を理解する
- コミュニケーション能力がある。
- 学士号あるいは実務経験。
- 日本語は理解できると尚良い。

[Job Description Summary]
We are contributing to yield improvement by performing electrical failure analysis (EFA) and physical failure analysis (PFA) as a failure analysis engineer for mass-produced semiconductor wafers, and feeding back the analysis results to the manufacturing process. We are looking for a Physical Failure Analysis (PFA) Engineer. Physical Failure Analysis (PFA) Engineers perform physical analysis of defects found in the manufacturing process and chips that fail in the probe test of wafers that have completed the manufacturing process. For chips that fail in the Probe test, we physically de-layer the film and polish on the defective area which was narrowed down by electrical analysis, and find the defects from the surface using SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) and by cutting the cross section using FIB (Focused Ion Beam). The failure mechanism is identified from the defects found and feed back to the manufacturing process.
[Job Description.]
- Perform film removal using chemicals such as hydrofluoric acid.
- Perform de-layer the film using milling, grinder, and CMP tools.
- Perform planar and cross-sectional analysis using SEM, FIB, STEM, TEM, etc.
- Consider the failure mechanism from the analysis results.
- Prepare a summary report of PFA analysis results in English.
- Report the results of PFA analysis in English in the meeting.
[Qualifications to apply]
- Understand basic EFA and PFA techniques
- Understand Process flow and cross-sectional structure.
- Good communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or work experience.
- Understanding of Japanese is a plus.
