Job Description



Systems (80% - 90% is the range of the job responsibility): 

- Leverage strong technical knowledge of our existing high-side switches portfolio, deep understanding of the technologies, standards and protocols within an industry or end equipment, and an ability to engage with customers and translate their requirements into technical specifications that will solve their problems
- Competitive benchmarking and tracking latest research in the vehicle power distrbution domain
- Interface and lead discussions with the customer and TI field teams to understand customer designs, problems and support as required
- Balancing innovation with execution - to ensure that the IPs are demonstrated in silicon in a timely manner


Safety (10% - 20% is the range of the job responsibility): 
- Deriving, defining, and verifying safety requirements from higher-level system requirements.
- Contributing to the definition of chip-level safety architecture in line with ISO 26262.
- Performing and reviewing safety analyses such as DFMEA, DFA, FMEDA and FTA



Qualifications



Must-have:

1. Bachelors or higher in Electrical Engineering
2. 5+ years of relevant industry experience
3. Deep understanding of commonly used analog circuits and blocks in power product
4. Deep understanding of electro thermal analysis
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment 
6. Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
7. Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
8. ISO26262 IC product experience 

Nice-to-have:

Experience with 
1. Automotive power management 
2. Power switches 
3. Power packaging technology
4. FuSa certification
5. Thermal simulators
6. Circuit / block simulators
7. PCB design 
8. EMC design

Language proficiency:

English proficiency is required (Can engage in business conversation (around TOEIC 700 points))
